Chairman’s Message

When I look back at how Rahmoo Public Interest came into existence, I am reminded that it did not begin with an announcement or a formal plan, but with years of quiet observation of how ordinary people in Pulwama lived their lives and faced their struggles. Long before RPI was formed, the people of our villages were already dealing with broken roads, unreliable electricity, delayed services, and unanswered complaints, and what they lacked most was not just solutions, but a platform that could carry their voices forward with dignity and persistence. RPI was created in 2018 to give shape to that collective need, to transform scattered frustrations into a united, organised effort that could be heard, verified, and acted upon.

Pulwama is a place of strong people who do not ask for special treatment but for fairness and basic rights, and over the decades I have seen how even the smallest issue, when ignored, can slowly turn into deep disappointment and helplessness. It is this understanding that guides everything we do at RPI, because behind every complaint there is a human story, and behind every delay there is a family that feels forgotten. As Chairman, my responsibility is not to lead from the front for recognition, but to protect the values that make this platform trustworthy, ensuring that our work remains honest, disciplined, and rooted in the real needs of the community.

What makes RPI different is not just the number of issues we raise or the reach we have across villages, but the way we approach every matter with seriousness and respect. We verify what we receive, we speak with clarity, and we follow up with patience until there is a response, because trust is built not through loud words but through consistent action. I have seen how this approach has allowed people from more than one hundred and fifty villages to place their faith in this platform, knowing that when they speak here, they will not be ignored or misrepresented.

Over time, I have witnessed many moments that have quietly defined our journey, whether it is a village finally getting a long overdue road repaired, a family receiving help during a medical crisis, or young people finding purpose and confidence through sports and community engagement instead of drifting toward harmful paths. These are not just achievements, they are reminders that collective effort, when guided by sincerity, can change the direction of many lives. Each of these stories carries the same message, that people do not lose hope when they feel someone is standing with them.

Rahmoo Public Interest will continue to walk this path, not as a political voice or a temporary movement, but as a permanent presence in the lives of the people of Pulwama. We will remain committed to public interest, to fairness, and to the belief that every individual deserves to be heard and treated with respect. Our strength will always come from the people we serve, and our purpose will always be to ensure that their voices, once raised, are never allowed to fade into silence.
