Mr. Qayoom Khan is a senior journalist and social activist from District Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. A native of Rahmoo village, he is deeply connected to the people and social realities of the region. He is currently working as a Video Journalist with CNN-News18 and also contributes to Free Press Kashmir, reporting on public issues, social concerns, and human interest stories from across Kashmir.

Growing up in Pulwama and working closely with people on the ground, Mr. Qayoom Khan has gained deep insight into the everyday challenges faced by communities, including infrastructure problems, healthcare access, and social issues. In 2018, he founded Rahmoo Public Interest (RPI) to move beyond reporting and become directly involved in solving local problems.
Under his leadership, RPI has expanded to cover more than 150 villages and has helped address thousands of public grievances, making it a strong people driven platform in District Pulwama.
